Realized in collaboration with Studioillumina, the renovation of the ancient roman Cisterna in Istanbul is strongly impacted by lighting.

 

The lighting design describes the visitor's travel within the Cistern, dividing the experience into separate phases: the going, the reflective part, and the coming back. Each phase is described by lighting in its dedicated way, adding mystery and history to the experience.
