Like a kaleidoscope in which light refracts across matter, the Caleide collection by Federica Cammarota for De Castelli is born from the dialogue between surface and reflection, between structure and imagination. A luminous narrative that takes shape through metal, elevated by De Castelli's artisanal expertise and transformed by the designer’s vision, long drawn to the boundary between reality and escape.

Steel, brass, and copper alternate in geometric compositions that seem to evoke distant landscapes. Drops, circles, trapezoids, and rectangles combine in a play of visual balance, where light settles and bounces, enhancing the ever-changing nature of the finishes. At the centre of each lamp, an opaline bulb acts as the object’s beating heart, casting a soft glow that warms the surrounding space.

Caleide is an exercise in perception, where metal becomes a sensitive surface, capable of capturing and multiplying light.
